A/N: Draco wanted something nice for his birthday. Not moribund. Nice. So he gets a second drabble for this prompt.

The air smells of dusty rosmary and pine, and the crumbling lichen tickles their feet. Ron peers into the bottle of Montilla, then waves it into the sunset: "Beautiful, isn't it?"
"Great Merle, my husband is a sunset-fancier."
"Admit it. You like it."
"I don't know what was wrong with the Mallorquinian finca we looked at."
"It cost fifteen million galleons. And you said the neighbours were posh arses."
"Mhh. Whereas our neighbours here are... goats." But regardless of what he says, Draco's fingers are stroking the purring moss on the roof already, spelling "ours" and "yes", and Ron smiles.

This is delicious and I want to curl up on the roof and only glance down occasionally when Draco's fingers spell "yours" and "now" in Ron's palm. ;)

Languages are funny things, I've come to find. English allows me to do things German won't, sometimes a simile will work better, sometimes English is infinitely more concise... evocative... and yet it really saddens me that there's so little good fanfic out there in German. German can be really glorious. And superbly frustrating. *rends hair*

Oh, I just found out that you wrote a second drabble in honour to Draco's birthday! *squees*This is lovely, and they really deserve a bit of happiness. As others have rightly pointed out, the image of Draco stroking the moss on the roof is just wonderful. I'd love to hear that sound of the purring moss. :-)
